JEREMY EATON

Welcome to the crazy world of pop artist and cartoonist JEREMY EATON.

“You'll never encounter anything that excites the eye and mind the way Jeremy Eaton's cartoon paintings do," says Jim Woodring, Stranger Genius Winner, United States Artists Fellow, creator of FRANK, WEATHERCRAFT, CONGRESS OF THE ANIMALS.

“Clearly the work of an inspired mind!” Peter Bagge, HATE, NEAT STUFF, RESET, OTHER LIVES etc.

“Love it!” Dan Fraga, Director, THE RICKY GERVAIS SHOW, HBO

“Awesome!” THE BELIEVER

“A triumph of wit and form!” Chelsea Cain, author of best-selling HEARTSICK, SWEETHEART, EVIL AT HEART, KILL YOU TWICE etc.

“Reminds me of Philip Guston!” Regina Hackett, critic, SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER

Known and admired for works of graphic literature like A SLEEPYHEAD TALE, WHOTNOT!, and A WORLD OF TROUBLE, published by preeminent comics publishers like Fantagraphics Books, Eaton is also a well-respected illustrator and painter, focusing the past few years on cartoon-influenced imagery, most especially his notoriously popular series of watercolor paintings, CARTOON JUMBLES, an ongoing collection of paintings featuring irreverent pairings of cartoon icons that recently inspired one of the world’s foremost entertainment corporations to seek their legal injunction, a bid which happily failed.

“Eaton's paintings are fractured and aggravating!” claims Peter Bagge, the influential creator of such groundbreaking alternative comics as Neat Stuff, Hate and the recent collection, Buddy Does Jersey. “Clearly the work of an inspired mind.”
